Handling instruction for Mansikki table

Thank you for your purchase. We hope that your larch Mansikki table will have a long working life.

By following the handling instruction you will prolong the life of your product.

Treatment of larch outdoor furniture with Tikkurila Valtti Akva timber oil.

Treatment of oiled wooden surfaces with water-based timber oil.

1. Clean the surfaces with a duster. Remove additional resin from knots with a steel spatula.

2. Wash the surfaces with Maalipesu and clean moldy surfaces with Homeenpoisto -solution. Follow the label instructions. Rinse carefully. Dry.

3. Treat the surfaces once or twice with timber oil (Valtti Puuöljy Akva). Wipe the unabsorbed paint off with a rag with no fluff.

4. Clean your tools with soap and water and rinse them carefully.

Treatment of oiled wooden surfaces with solvent-based timber oil

1. Clean the surfaces with a duster. Remove additional resin from knots with a steel spatula.

2. Wash the surfaces with Maalipesu and clean moldy surfaces with Homeenpoisto -solution. Follow the label instructions. Rinse carefully. Dry.

3. Prepare the non-pressure treated clean wood surfaces with Valtti-Pohjuste.

4. Treat the surfaces once or twice with timber oil (Valtti Puuöljy). Wipe the unabsorbed paint off with a rag with no fluff.

5. Clean your tools with mineral turpentine (Lakkabensiini 1050).

Danger! Inflammable chemical. Rags damped with timber oil (Valtti Puuöljy) can ignite spontaneously. Keep them damp with water before getting rid of them, dry them out in the open, or burn them immediately after use.
